What's new:


[beta 6]

- fixed a couple of problems related to sounds (replication in UT is kinda different from the one in U1...)


[beta 5]

- updated all pawns to MonsterCoop v2.0 ones. They should be perfect now :D


[beta 4]

- added a new option to let admins decide if monster players are allowed to pickup or not weapons.
  It's called bAlwaysPickUp, you can set it from adv options or manually (editing UTMCoop.ini).


[beta 3]

- fixed all the fishes (BiterFish, DevilFish, Squid)
- fixed Mercenary's Invulnerable bug
- fixed all the EyeHeight/BaseEyeHeight's

Hey guys, what you just downloaded is a BETA version of UTMCoop - a very small conversion of my major mod
for UT. It basically makes you able to play as any type of monster in the game, both offline and online :D
For the ones of you who alredy know this mod, lemme just say that the pawns have been improved a lot since
last version (I rewrote all of the code). There are also some new boys out there (BabyCow, BiterFish, Blob,
HorseFly and Squid) so the count is complete: I made all of them yay! :)

Installation
============

To run this package simply extract UTMCoop.u into your UnrealTournament\System folder. Then, if you plan to
run a server and play this online, you should also add it in the Server Packages list. To do so, just open
UnrealTournament.ini and add this line:

ServerPackages=UTMCoop

(if you aren't a newbie you'll know where to type that :P)

How to run this mod
===================

- Playing it offline (Single player):

Go to OldSkool's options and add "UTMCoop" to the mutators list. Then, open the Player Setup window and choose
your class :)


- Playing it online (Listen/Dedicated server):

As for single player games, you have to add the UTMCoop mutator. The best way to do it is starting it from command
line. Here is an example of what it could look like:

C:\UnrealTournament\System\UnrealTournament.exe DKnyleve?Game=oldskool.coopgame2?mutator=UTMCoop.UTMCoopMutator -server

How to change class
===================

There are two ways to change your class. The first one is choosing it from the Player Setup window. The second one is
changing your name to the name of the class you'd like to play as (for more info, type 'mutate showpawns' from in-game).
Then, RECONNECT/RESTART and have fun!! ;)

Cool things you have to know
============================

All monsters will NOT pickup guns by default. You can easily change this way:

   Options -> Advanced Options -> UT MonsterCoop -> enable bAlwaysPickup


Also, most of the monsters have some nice properties that can be changed. For example, say I am a MCoopIceSkaarj...
I will be able to change these properties:

MeleeDamage      Amount of damage done by melee attacks (i.e. 'admin set MCoopIceSkaarj MeleeDamage 99999')
MeleeRange      "How far" the pawn can melee attack to (i.e. 'admin set MCoopIceSkaarj MeleeRange 500')

ProjectileClassL   The class of the projectile that will get spawned by my left arm  (i.e. 'admin set MCoopIceSkaarj ProjectileClassL UnrealI.GasBagBelch')
ProjectileClassR   The class of the projectile that will get spawned by my right arm  (i.e. 'admin set MCoopIceSkaarj ProjectileClassR UnrealShare.BruteProjectile')
FireSpeed      How fast I will be able to shoot  (i.e. 'admin set MCoopIceSkaarj FireSpeed 5')


Please note that they could have slightly different names, so if you need for info look directly at the vars in the code.
