Entity under crosshair
« on: April 03, 2020, 06:29:57 PM »

Hey!

I've been away from UT99 for a LONG time and I can't remember exactly - does UT99 also have "entity under crosshair" feature?
Which means when I'm aiming at some NPC, player, then some address gets filled with that entity ID value and when I move my crosshair off that target, then that value gets value "0" or something else.

Anyone got more info about that?

That kind of thing as far as I know, does not exist. But... with the game bein so exploitable, It might be possible to make. I cannot code for a piece of Kendle Mint Cake. So I cannot help you on that department.

In that case I remember wrong... I used to make simple external triggerbot somehow like that, but as usual, lost it :(
But I remember it was very simple - like I was aiming at enemy, then one address consisted of entity ID and then I read that entitys' team value and pressed fire if it was enemy. Really simple triggerbot for instagib.

But I guess I remember wrong...

Anyways! Thanks!
